Department Overview:

The Oregon Lacrosse Club is for Girl and Boy lacrosse players in Grades 1-8. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for our athletes to learn the sport, grow as part of a team, and get to know other players in the area.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Job Description 
The Oregon Lacrosse Club is seeking an individual interested in youth coaching and community engagement to serve as a Girls U10 coach for the spring season. This role involves collaborating with a parent coach to plan and run practices, support player development, and assist during games and tournaments. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in athletics, education, health, or youth leadership to gain applied experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with parent coach to plan and lead 2–3 practices per week
  • Attend and support approximately 85% of scheduled practices
  • Coach during all games
  • Participate in scheduled tournaments
  • Foster a positive, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  • Support skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among players

Qualifications

  • Experience in Girls lacrosse preferred, but not required

  • Ability to work collaboratively with volunteer coaches and families
