Schedule:
Academic Year: 10-12 hours per week.
Summer: 30-40 hours per week.
Flexible scheduling based on academic availability and operational need.
Seasonal: This position is considered seasonal during the summer months in regards to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Hours worked may exceed 30 hours/week during the summer months

Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position works closely with all unit Desks and Housing Offices to provide administrative oversite, on boarding and off boarding activities, supply ordering and general communication. This position will work on many special projects and in close coordination with Residence Life.
Serve as a resource and answer questions from staff, students and the general public. Follow up with concerns in a timely and thorough fashion.
Provide Desk Supervisors, Event Staff and Residential Operations professional staff with the training and logistical support necessary to complete their responsibilities.
Assist in scheduling, timecard maintenance, and resource management for various student staff organizations within Residential Operations.
Organize, coordinate, and participate in the hiring and training processes in collaboration with Residential Operations Professional Staff.
Assist with resident processes including move-in and out, room changes, equipment and key check out and mail and packages as needed.
Prepare and process billing for loaner keys, core changes, and lost/damaged equipment as needed.
Work with Residential Operations professional staff to ensure that staff complete tasks and paperwork needed for compliance.
Assist with all onboarding and off boarding activities for all Residential Operations student and professional staff.
Look for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of procedures for students and staff.
General administrative tasks for Residential Operations, including administrative support.
Assist building staff with special projects including publicity/marketing, bulletin boards, social media, etc.
Meet with supervisor weekly.
Maintain communication with Desk Supervisors, Event Staff and Residential Operations professional staff in order to provide for well-stocked, smooth running areas.
Compile, update, and maintain supply budgets for the desks.
Order office supplies for Residence Life.
Maintain and organize desk space, files, and schedules as needed.
Manage various calendars, appointments, and room reservations.
Maintain and update manuals and permissions for University Housing utilized systems (StarRez, SharePoint, EMS, and Shared Drive).
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have experience in supervision and leadership. Preference given to applicants with experience as a Desk Supervisor for University Housing.
Must be in good standing with the University and University Housing at the time of application, hire, start of employment, and through the duration of employment. All non-academic misconduct will be reviewed for employment consideration.
