Position Summary/Job Duties:
Seeking a caregiver for our daughter who has autism. Our daughter is a sweet, good-natured, cuddly girl; she is mostly non-verbal, but communicates with a tablet and some sign language. She is potty trained, but occasionally needs bathroom assistance, and she will need encouragement to complete Activities of Daily Living for herself. The right candidate will have some morning availability during the school year from 7:20-8:40 (paid for 2 hours), to help with breakfast, getting dressed and onto the bus. We need help up to 3 mornings a week; the days will vary. Caregivers are paid through a government program after completing paperwork and background check. This would be a great experience for those pursuing pediatric or education professions. Other hours will be available in addition to the AMs.
Qualifications:
patience, kindness and understanding.
