Position Summary/Job Duties:

- Weekdays Tuesday- Friday 11-5

- Weekend Days/Evenings

We are seeing a compassionate and dependable caregiver for our 7 year old daughter with developmental delay and her two older brothers (9 and 11).  We are a loving, busy family who enjoys being outdoors and active in the summer.  Driving required to pick her up from summer school, with remainder of the activities being in our neighborhood. We would mostly need coverage Tuesday - Friday, but would need additional help when summer school is not in session. Will guarantee 10 hours a week, will likely need more.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive supervision and supportive care

  • Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed

  • Plan and participate in fun summer activities (parks, walks, crafts, outings, etc.)

  • Encourage independence and positive social interaction

  • Support mobility and safety during activities

  • Communicate regularly with family regarding the day’s activities and needs

Qualifications

  • Experience with caregiving, childcare, special needs support, or related field preferred

  • Patient, reliable, and compassionate personality

  • Ability to follow care instructions and maintain a safe environment

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs

  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • Ability to plan engaging activities
