Position Summary/Job Duties:

Help create a fun, supportive, and enriching experiences for kids through hands-on learning, play, and community connection. Enjoy swimming at the pool and going on field trips. 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Plan and lead engaging educational, social, and recreational activities for youth ages 5–12 from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds

· Incorporate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into daily activities and interactions

· Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in line with state licensing and city certification standards

· Support children’s growth, learning, and positive peer relationships

Qualifications:

Education:

· High school diploma (or equivalent)

· Strong foundation in child development principles and experience working with school-age children from diverse backgrounds

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Personal Attributes:

· Patience, flexibility, and strong judgment

· Creativity, problem-solving skills, and adaptability

· Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

· Ability to participate in full-day activities, including outdoor play

· Completion of a physical exam and negative TB test

Physical Demands
