Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a summer nanny to hang out with our two sweet and silly girls (2.5 and 7.5). We live on the near West side, right by West High School - close to Trader Joe's, Regent Co-op, and Monroe Street!

Responsibilities will include structuring the day, preparing snacks and meals, playing, putting 2yo down for nap, transportation for 7yo to and from scheduled camps/playdates/etc. Hoping to find someone that likes to play, go to the zoo, parks, library, pool, and spend time outside.

Schedule would include 32-40 hours/week, approximately 7:45a-4p Mon-Thurs, and some Fridays as agreed upon.

A little bit about us: 7 year old is very sweet and loves to play games, read, ride her bike, and do art. 2 year old is super goofy and snuggly, and mostly likes to follow Big Sister around. Dad works from home, Mom works mostly out of the home. We also have two cats in our house :)

We are currently just looking for someone for the summer. However, there may be the possibility to continue into the school year on a part-time (after school) basis, or for occasional date-nights.

Qualifications:

  • Need own transportation to/from our house. You will use your own car to transport older kid to/from camps or other scheduled activities. We will provide car seats and a weekly gas stipend.
  • Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
  • Prior childcare experience preferred
  • Reliable
  • Non-smoker
  • Vaccinated
