Position Summary/Job Duties:

Must be a citizen to apply. My lab studies the effects of winterkill in alfalfa and builds phenotyping equipment. The position is at the Dairy Forage Research Center next to the vet school. An ideal candidate would be a student with an engineering or computer science background that likes to work outdoors or a biology student that has computer programming skills. Labratory training will be provided. The job requires occasional field work and a moderate amount of physcial labor. We also require a valid drivers licence and a driving record in good standing. Fingerprints and background checks are also required. This is an hourly position with a salary of $20/hr.

Qualifications:

Lab experience is a plus. Experience with electronics, slodering or power tools is a plus. Neither skill is necessary as on job training will occur. 

Physical Demands

Occasional lifting of 30-50 lbs.
