Position Summary/Job Duties:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Specialists to join our team!

Support Specialists work closely with families experiencing higher levels of stress or whose child may be at risk of out-of-home placement. In this role, you will help implement individualized support plans that promote each child’s independence and encourage inclusion within the home and community.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide 1:1 client centered care and supervision (Respite)
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and skill development for children and teens
  • Support the implementation of individualized care and support plans
  • Help foster independence and positive engagement at home and in the community
  • Collaborate with families and work under the guidance of the CARES Coordinator

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for helping children and families succeed
  • Individual with personal vehicle or reliable transportation to various towns and cities in Dane County

Pay & Benefits:

  • $20.00 per hour
  • Mileage and expense reimbursement

Qualifications:

Prior experience or relevent trainings are ideal for this role.
