Schedule:

Scheduling is highly flexible and can be tailored to your availability, including mornings, afternoons, full days, or select days during the week. Opportunities are available year-round, including summer, school breaks, and during the academic year.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $14.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This flexible position is designed for college students interested in working with children in either a daycare or summer camp setting - or both. Staff will support daily activities, ensure child safety, and help create a positive, engaging environment.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and actively engage with children ages 6 weeks–14 years
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and learning experiences
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
  • Support field trips, outdoor play, and large group activities (camp roles)
  • Help implement curriculum and themed programming
  • Model positive behavior and guide children using respectful discipline practices
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and staff
  • Assist with special projects (clubs, social media, events, etc.) based on interest

Ideal Candidate

  • College student or recent graduate
  • Enjoys working with children and has a positive, energetic attitude
  • Reliable, responsible, and adaptable
  • Willing to learn and take initiative
  • Experience with children is a plus but not required
