Position Summary/Job Duties: | We are seeking a kind, dependable, and energetic nanny for our two children (ages 8 and 10) for the summer.
Schedule:
Typical hours are Monday–Thursday, approximately 11:30 AM–4:00 PM, with school pickup at 11:30 AM. Fridays are a full day with flexible hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Picking up children from school and preparing lunch
- Planning and engaging in afternoon activities (pool, library, outdoor play, neighborhood outings, etc.)
- Helping children stay on track with daily routines and responsibilities
- Preparing children for evening activities
- Light household tasks related to the children (tidying up, meal cleanup, organizing activity supplies)
We are looking for someone who enjoys being active, can take initiative in planning fun and structured days, and is comfortable setting clear expectations with kids while keeping things positive and engaging.
We also have a small puppy in training, so comfort with dogs is important (experience is a plus).
Ideal candidate:
- Responsible, organized, and reliable
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and being active
- Able to balance fun with structure and follow-through
- Has a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (if applicable to your needs)
Kiddos:
These kiddos are (mostly) kind, active, and enjoy reading, sports, swimming in our neighborhood pool, and playing with their friends. Both are active in competitive sports and piano in the evenings and afternoon would be fun time for them.
