Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for someone who brings a high-energy, positive, and engaging presence to the summer—someone who naturally steps into a leadership role while keeping things fun.

The ideal candidate is active, team-oriented, and excited to be fully involved in the kids’ daily experiences.

  • Comfortable taking the kids to places like the Nakoma pool and getting in the water to swim, play, and actively supervise when needed

  • Enjoys being outside and staying active—whether that’s swimming, playing games, going for walks, or planning fun activities

  • Brings a fun, upbeat, and encouraging energy, similar to a coach or camp leader

  • Willing to jump in and participate—not just supervise from the sidelines

  • Confident managing schedules and transitions while keeping the day positive and structured

  • Helps create a summer that feels active, memorable, and full of energy

Above all, we’re hoping to find someone who can make this summer feel a bit like camp—fun, engaging, and active—while still providing thoughtful, responsible care.

Childcare

  • Provide attentive, high-quality care for two children (ages 4 and 6)

  • Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment

  • Encourage independence, positive behavior, and respectful interactions

Transportation & Activities

  • Drive children to and from activities, lessons, camps, and play dates (Valid drivers license required. Someone with vehicle preferred.)

  • Help plan and coordinate daily activities and transitions

Meals & Snacks

  • Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space related to meal prep

Work Schedule

  • Full-day coverage (e.g., 8:30AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
  • Schedule may be adjusted based on needs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $20/hr

  • Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

  • Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving

Qualifications

  • Prior childcare, nanny, or camp experience preferred
