Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for someone to take our super sweet dog for a daily midday walk this summer. Teddy Bear is a 25-pound goldendoodle who loves everyone and loves being outside! We live on the near west side of Madison, close to UW Hospital and the University Bay fields. We're close to the lakeshore path and bus lines if you don't have a car. Our ideal candidate is highly reliable and loves dogs! Teddy Bear is sweet and well-behaved, though she will try to chase squirrels, so needs close supervision:)

We'd like her to have an hour of attention total, a 30-45 minute walk (depending on weather) and then some playtime and pets! We are flexible on timing around the middle of the day (presumably noon to 1pm, but 11am to noon or 12:30 to 1:30pm would be fine too). We are also willing to fill the position with more than one person if you can do some days of the week, but not all of them.

We look forward to hearing from you. Teddy Bear's a day-brightener! (If you're interested, we are separately advertising for August childcare for two awesome kids ages 10 and 12!)

Qualifications:

Previous experience walking or caring for dogs would be great.

Application Instructions:

If interested, please send an introductory email (and, optional, a resume) to seifter@wisc.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
