Department Overview:
Kumon is an afterschool math and reading program that employs a unique learning method designed to help each child master the basics of math and reading, as well as develop the skills needed to perform to his or her full potential. It is also the largest and most established afterschool program of its kind in the world.

Wednesdays: 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays : 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $12.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
-Grading students' classwork and homework assignments with speed and accuracy
-Primarily working with PK-3rd grade students (up to 2 at a time)
-Guiding students through challenging exercises, encouraging them to use critical thinking skills
-Keeping students focused on their classwork and maintaining a quiet classroom
-Provide feedback to the Instructor based on one's observation
Qualifications:
The ideal candidatte will have
-Genuine interest in working with children and have a firm belief that all children have the potential to succeed
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner
-Strong foundation in Math and Reading skills
-Ability to multi-task
-Detail-oriented, puctual, reliable, well-organized
