Position Summary/Job Duties:
We’re looking for a patient, knowledgeable math tutor to help a rising high school senior strengthen his ACT Math score before the fall test date. Sessions would cover core ACT Math content — algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and data analysis — along with test-taking strategies (pacing, common traps, calculator use).
Responsibilities:
• Assess current skill level and identify weak areas
• Design short-term study plan targeting ACT Math content through end of September
• Run 1–2 hour tutoring sessions, in-person (Madison area) or virtual
• Provide practice problems and review official ACT practice tests
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Strong background in high school math (algebra through pre-calc/trig)
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Familiarity with the ACT Math section format a plus
• Reliable, punctual, good communicator
