The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907.

Anticipated Schedule

• There is no regular schedule for this postion. Job hours are based on events booked in the theaters. Some weeks will have a lot of hours, while some will have none.

Mininum Hour Expectation

Unit Hours

• 7am to 1am, hours are event based. Most of the work is evenings and weekends. 

Unit Location

• Memorial Union, both Shannon Hall and Play Circle Theater.

Stagehands will work as a team to provide lighting, audio, video, rigging, live streaming, & stage management services for events at the Wisconsin Union Theater. 

• Looking for students with some backstage entertainment experience or with other applicable skills useful in the production side of our events.
• Formal resume not required but please include a list or description of any relevant experience
• Must be able to work weekends
• Preference is given to first- and second-year students due to extensive training and to encourage skill growth over multiple years and a wide range of events
• Must be enrolled as a student at a college or university
