Schedule:
Inclusion Facilitators will work Monday-Friday most often in the afternoons when the children and teens are out of school. Respite Providers can work every day of the week including weekends and evenings. Exact hours will depend on the family needs and availability of the provider. Providers can work as little as one hour a week up to 40 hours.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $17.00 to $19.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Respite providers support children, teenagers, AND adults who have developmental disabilities. Providers offer quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities to give primary caregivers a break. Care can take place in the family home or the community dependent on what the family would like. Depending on the individual needs of the person, this position can include general supervision, entertaining (bowling, movies, parks, walks), feeding (preparing meals, helping them eat, going out to eat), dressing, personal cares (helping with personal hygiene), mentoring and behavioral support (managing behavioral challenges as they present themselves).
Inclusion Faciliatator is another position with the agency. Facilitators work with children and teenagers with developmental disabilities who are enrolled at a childcare center or in a community event or activity. The goal of this position is to give the children and teens the same opportunities as everyone else. Some of the responsibilities could include supporting peer relationships, helping them participate in an activity, and/or picking them up from school to bring them to an outing or activity.
