Position Summary/Job Duties:
We're looking for a warm, reliable part-time nanny for our 8-year-old daughter, starting the first week of September. This is a great fit for someone looking for engaging, no-diapers, no-bottles care - she's kind, energetic, and loves arts and crafts, playing outside, and being silly. We're hoping this grows into an ongoing relationship past this school year.
Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday, 3:00–5:30pm
Monday 1:00–5:30pm optional, if you'd like additional hours
Responsibilities:
Meet her at the bus stop (one block from our home)
Light snack prep
Supervision and engaged play after school
Light activities, homework support if needed, and general companionship
Location: Near Hilldale/Hoyt Park on Madison's west side
Requirements:
Own vehicle preferred (we're on a bus line, but a car is ideal for flexibility)
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a school-age child
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
References required
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
