Department Overview:

Seeking energetic, reliable people who have an interest in furthering their career path by providing care and activities to enhance the life of my daughter. Lakeview Supportive Living is the employer providing the pay. Parent will do all the training. Prior care experience is not required, although valued. Year long commitment is appreciated. Former college students have found this to be a remarkable opportunity.

Anticipated Hours Per Week

3-6 hours every other weekend

Schedule:

Caregiver: 6 hour shift 9:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. every other Saturday or Sunday

Recreational Assistant: 3 hours shift 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. every other Saturday or Sunday

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $18.75 to $18.75

Position Summary/Job Duties:

These positions offers valuable experience, broadens your resume, and provides extra cash.

Caregiver: Shift 6 hour 9:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. Saturday or Sunday every other weekend. Wage is $18.75/hr

  • This is a hands on caregiving position involving both personal daily living care, as she is unable to do these things independently, and helping her participate in activities to enjoy her day. Cost and travel reimbursement when taking her outside the home for fun activities,  i.e. swimming, biking, bowing, musical performances, community events, etc. is provided.
  • A recreational assistant will partner with you from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the activities

Recreational Assistant: Shift 3 hours every other Saturday or Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wage is $18.75/hr

  • In this position you help the caregiver with the activities, companionship, and personal care assistance.
  • Cost for activities and travel are reimbursed.  

Substitute Caregiver & Recreational Assistant Positions are also available for a Saturday or a Sunday

Physical Demands

High energy and motivation to provide care, companionship, and activities with a partner. Client wt. is 125lbs., uses a wheelchair, but does standing transfers.
