Position Summary/Job Duties:

Our family is looking for someone to join us as an after-school family helper/CLTS personal support provider.

We're looking for someone Monday through Friday, approximately 3-5pm (10 hours per week) to help our faily during the busy after-school stretch. This would be a great fit for someone who enjoys working with kids and is looking for a consistent part-time position.

Our children have a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1), ADHD, and Type One Diabetes, and we're looking for someone who can provide extra hands and support to help the parent managing the after-school routine.

This is more of a family support role than traditional babysitting. Some of the things we envision include:

  • Helping with after-school routines
  • Homework help and school-related tasks
  • Helping kids get organized and settled after school
  • Playing/engaging with kids
  • Helping with kid-related household taks (snacks, dishes, tidying play areas, etc.)
  • Providing an extra set of hands when one child needs more individualized attention
  • Helping with other age-appropriate kid tasks as needed

We're hoping to find someone who is reliable, patient, flexible, comfortable around neurodivergent kids, and genuienly enjoys being part of a busy family environment. Experience with neurodivergence and Type One Diabetes is not required; we can provide training for the right person.
