Position Summary/Job Duties:
Job Description: Looking for a female gay-friendly college student (undergrad or graduate) to be a companion for my wife, a retired Professor with moderate dementia (and a strong background in Women and Gender Studies, Mass Media and English). ($20/hr) part-time with flexible hours 4-8hrs/wk.
Ideal candidates will:
Have lots of patience
Be a good conversationalist
Be well organized and on time.
Have a positive attitude & sense of humor
Duties may include:
Assisting with daily living tasks
Engaging in stimulating conversation
Reading out loud
Assist with mobility exercises
Preparing lunch
