Play Zone Cafe is a locally owned indoor playground and café located in Verona, Wisconsin, serving families throughout the greater Madison area.

We provide a fun, clean, and welcoming environment where families can enjoy indoor play, food and beverages, birthday parties, and special events.

Our team focuses on friendly customer service, cleanliness, organization, and creating a positive experience for every guest. As a small local business, team members can gain hands-on experience in customer service, café operations, events, cash handling, and the daily operations of a family entertainment business.

Schedule

Part-time. Weekday and weekend shifts available. Flexible scheduling around class schedules when possible. Weekend and school-break availability is a plus.

Play Zone Cafe is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic team members to join our indoor playground and café in Verona, Wisconsin.

As a Playground & Café Team Member, you will help with the day-to-day operation of the business and provide a welcoming experience for families and guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly customer service

• Checking in families and answering customer questions

• Taking café orders and preparing simple food and beverage items

• Operating the register and following cash-handling procedures

• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe playground and café

• Assisting with birthday parties and special events

• Restocking supplies as needed

• Completing cleaning and organizing tasks during slower periods

• Following company procedures and daily task routines

• Working as part of the team to provide a positive guest experience

This is an active position. Team members are expected to remain productive throughout their shift and help maintain the facility even during slower periods.

Previous experience in customer service, food service, café, retail, events, or cash handling is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

• Friendly and comfortable interacting with families
• Able to stay active and productive throughout the shift
• Comfortable with cleaning, organizing, customer service, and cash handling
• Able to follow company procedures and work well as part of a team
• Must be willing to learn

Previous customer service, food service, café, retail, event, or cash-handling experience is helpful, but not required.
