Student Jobs

Ideally mornings from 9 or 10 am for as long as you might be able to come, but the hours can be flexible. 

We are a loving amily in Middleton with 2 boys and 2 small dogs. The boys are in school, and we have hired amazing UW students to help with after school childcare. Bella, our 14 year old shih tzu, went to the groomer's and came back with a corneal abrasion which resulted in serious eye damage. Her eye was at risk for surgical removal, and we have been managing by giving her eye drops every 2-3 hours. She is now blind in that eye, and in a cone - for at least the short term - we are hoping for someone to come for 1-3 hours/day on a few days per week to help with walks, company, watching her and her sister, Molly. Mornings would be ideal, but 5 days per week are not required for the right candidate. We can be flexible around your class schedule. If there isn't enough to do, we might ask for a bit of household help including folding laundry or putting away laundry for the kids, or perhaps going to the grocery store.  There will be plenty of opportunities for pet sitting, and even baby sitting our 8 and 11 year old,  if you are interested. 

Trustworthiness and kindness to animals and kids is a must.
