We are a west side Madison family looking for a reliable, caring, and engaging babysitter for our 3-year-old son, Rainier (Ray). We are hoping to find someone who can become our go-to sitter for occasional date nights, events, and other times when we need childcare.

Most babysitting will take place on weekday evenings and weekends, approximately 2–4 times per month, some occasional weekday hours may be avaiable during daycare closures. There are no guaranteed weekly hours, so this would be a great fit for a UW student looking for flexible, occasional babysitting work.

Ray is an active, playful, and curious 3-year-old who enjoys playing outside, reading books, imaginative play, and staying busy. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and is comfortable keeping him engaged while maintaining his normal evening routine.

Responsibilities may include:

• Playing and engaging with Ray

• Preparing or serving simple meals and snacks

• Helping with his evening and bedtime routine

• Light cleanup related to meals and activities

• Following family routines and childcare instructions

• Providing a safe, attentive, and fun environment

We would love to find someone who is interested in building an ongoing relationship with our family and becoming a familiar, trusted sitter for Ray!

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous babysitting or childcare experience, preferably with toddlers/preschool-aged children

• Is dependable, responsible, and communicative

• Is comfortable handling dinner and bedtime routines

• Has reliable transportation

• Is available for occasional weekday evenings and weekends

• Can provide childcare references

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
