Department Overview:

The Madison area’s largest children’s consignment sale, featuring tens of thousands of items for pregnant moms, expecting parents, and young families, featuring items of all types for ages 0 – 12, plus maternity. Mom owned and 100% local.

Schedule:
  • Saturday, Oct 10: 7:30am-7:30pm (public sale)
  • Sunday, Oct 11: 12:30pm-6:30pm (takedown)
  • Looking for people who can work most of these times, but am willing to look at someone who can to just a 6 hour Saturday block or the Sunday times.

Salary/Wage Range:

 Hourly $15.00 to $18.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Half-Pint Resale is a twice-yearly kids' consignment sale for families in the Madison area. We're hiring 3 dependable staff members for our fall sale weekend.

Location
Arena at Alliant Energy Center, Madison. Free parking.

Responsibilities

  • Run checkout: scanning tagged items and bagging purchases
  • Keep the sales floor organized by restocking racks and tables and tidying as shoppers browse
  • Sort unsold items back to the right consignors at the end of the sale

 

Qualifications:
  • Friendly, reliable, and comfortable on your feet for long shifts
  • Attention to detail (accurate checkout and sorting matter a lot to our consignors)
  • Prior cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required. We'll train you on our process at the start of your first shift.
