The NFC is a core laboratory in the College of Engineering.

Seven to fifteen hours per week, during regular business hours.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be able to commit to working shifts of at least two uninterrupted hours, 2 or 3 days per week. Other hours may be flexible according to applicant’s schedule, but most work must be performed during regular business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM. Need for this worker continues year-round, and preference may be given to applicants who can commit to staying with the position for several semesters, including summers.

Good communications and organizational skills.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The job involves general housekeeping and restocking in the NFC cleanroom, a controlled-environment laboratory. Duties include removing trash, cleaning work surfaces and equipment, laundering cleanroom suits, restocking laboratory consumables, and other duties as needed.

Physical Demands:

Able to lift at least 30 pounds. Able to tolerate the required controlled-environment clothing worn in the lab (provided by the employer).
