Qualifications:
Experience with software and computer platforms including, but not limited to Microsoft, Adobe, spreadsheets, and WordPress (optional, but desirable).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Ability to work independently and also as a team member. • Detail-oriented and commitment to excellence in editing and repetitive detailed work. • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Osher Center for Integrative Health, a program in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, has immediate openings for 2 part-time student workers who are each able to work 10-15 hours per week. The expectation would be for employment to continue through the academic year, into the summer and possibly next academic year. The individuals in these roles will serve as team members on a large project focused on re-branding and website refreshing of the Osher Center for Integrative Health’s online educational library and website. Duties will include: • Detail-oriented formatting and editing of educational materials using Microsoft Word. • Assist in the conversion of Word and Adobe PDF documents to a Knowledgebase platform. • Potential for assisting in website development using the WiscWeb platform. • Assist with other operations and outreach projects and tasks such as special events.
