Schedule:
The Student Assistant will have a set number of hours each week, usually 5-10 hours per week during business hours, with flexibility around class schedules. Typically, work will be performed in-person in Grainger Hall; however, there is opportunity for some remote work depending on workload and needs of the Center.

Qualifications:
• Status as a University of Wisconsin – Madison undergraduate student • Student must be able to work during the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semester. • Reliable, detail-oriented, strong organizational skills • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines. • Strong verbal, written, and administrative skills • Any training needed will be provided by Center or WSB staff
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Manage our social media channels (Instagram & LinkedIn) by developing content/blog posts to highlight and share our activities, speakers, and events. • Support our semester newsletters by drafting outlines and/or content ideas • Provide administrative and logistical support for Center activities, classes and other events • Gather/update Nicholas Center alumni data; support student recruiting by assisting with CFIB Job board updates as needed. • Organize the Center space and keep the student lounge stocked with supplies • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the Center.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Wisconsin School of Business is seeking a student assistant to support the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. The role will be mostly in-person with opportunities for hybrid work. The student assistant supports the Nicholas Center Director & Assistant Director by carrying out administrative tasks and responsibilities. The role requires excellent organizational, creative, and communication skills.
