Department Overview:
The UW Department of Ob-Gyn plays a pivotal role in advancing reproductive health through our tireless efforts in clinical excellence, education, discovery, and advocacy. As part of the Human Subjects Core, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Clinical Research Student Assistant will participate in data entry and coordinate laboratory samples.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is goal-oriented with an interest in reproductive health, clinical research, or public health. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to work well independently with a high level of responsibility and reliability.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Undergraduate Student Assistant will support clinical research within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in women’s health research, with a focus on fertility, reproductive health, and endocrine disorders. The undergraduate student assistant will assist with data entry, patient visit coordination, and laboratory sample coordination to support ongoing clinical research studies. Responsibilities: • Data Entry and Management • Enter and maintain accurate research data in electronic databases (e.g., REDCap). • Conduct data quality checks and assist with data cleaning and reporting. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and institutional data security protocols. • with patients and clinical staff to support study procedures. • Laboratory Sample Coordination • Assist with ordering, labeling, tracking, and transporting biological samples related to fertility and hormone studies.
