Department Overview:
The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus in support of the university's education, research, and outreach activities. FP&M Human Resources works behind the scenes to support the mission and employees of FP&M. The major functional areas include recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, training, and employee relations.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Tableau databases is desirable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, judgment, and problem-solving, strong client focus - Ability to work independently - Deadline-oriented, quality-oriented and efficient - Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Seeking an independent, self-motivated student employee to support the Training and Organizational Development team withing the Division of Facilities Planning & Management's Human Resources Department. Primary responsibilities will include assisting with administrative tasks related to New Employee Onboarding, course creation in the OHRD catalog, training registrations. Must have excellent communication skills and proficiency in data entry.
Physical Demands:
Use of PC computer/mouse/keyboard. Ability to work on-site.
