Department Overview:
UPchieve is a nonprofit providing free, 24/7 online tutoring to low-income 6th-12th grade students. Our mission is to democratize access to academic support so that all students have an equal opportunity to finish high school, attend college, and achieve upward mobility.

We will meet and decide what shifts work best for you! We do have a 5-10 hour a weekly requirement, but we'll be flexible in deciding when those hours can happen!

Qualifications:
A good grasp of middle school math, but no previous tutoring experience needed – we provide training to help you get started!
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Work completely remotely – tutor from anywhere with internet access. We do provide tutor training and feedback!
Position Summary/Job Duties:
You’ll tutor students via UPchieve’s platform, utilizing a virtual classroom that matches one student with one tutor. This virtual classroom provides a text-based chat and a whiteboard.
