Department Overview:
The student will join the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) in the School of Medicine & Public Health. ICTR is funded by NIH to speed the translation of new discoveries into improvements in human health. The student will be an important part of a team that is tasked with providing training and professional development to graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and early-stage faculty. Schedule:
The student will work with a senior Administrative Assistant to learn the team's best practices. Once comfortable with these processes, the student can work during the day when it best fits their class schedule.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have good oral and written communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks across the various training programs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
The successful student will be detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player. The student will be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook to manage calendar invites and email messaging and Microsoft Excel to track status of messages sent/received and meetings.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The student will be an important part of the communication team required to successfully implement five training programs that comprise the Pathway Program. The student will work with the Pathway Program Administrative Lead to manage these logistical tasks. We will train the student on program communication best practices -- email messaging and scheduling meetings and seminars.
Physical Demands:
The student needs to be able to use a laptop computer in an office setting.
