Qualifications:
Must be a current Graduate student Preference will be given to students in the field of Literature, History, Cultural Studies, Theatre, Art History Cannot be currently enrolled in the course
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Familiarity with Canvas platform Ability to provide feedback and maintain confidentiality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position Summary/Job Duties:
These are hourly Project Assistant Reader/Grader positions to grade writing assignments for the following courses: - AAS151: Introduction to Contemporary Afro-American Society - AAS242: Introduction to Afro-American Art - AAS267: Artistic/Cultural Images of Black Women - AAS271: Afrofuturism and Popular Culture - AAS271: Race Ethnicity & Black Population Health - AAS272: Race & American Politics: From the New Deal to the New Right - AAS338: The Black Arts Movement Grading loads are expected to be more concentrated near due dates of exams and major assignments. This appointment does not carry any tuition remission or benefits. In your application, please specify the course for which you are interested to grade.
