Department Overview:
The UW Department of Ob-Gyn plays a pivotal role in advancing reproductive health through our tireless efforts in clinical excellence, education, discovery, and advocacy. As part of the Finance Division of OBGYN, the Finance / Accounting Student Assistant will participate in data entry in multiple Accounting ERP Systems and Excel.

Qualifications:
Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Science, Data Science, or related fields. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to work well independently with a high level of responsibility and reliability.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Effective written and verbal communication • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently • Available 10-20 hours/week Monday-Friday • Verbal communication and collaboration skills • Advanced Proficiency in Excel
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Undergraduate Student Assistant will support the Operational Finance team within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in entry level accounting while under the oversite of the Associate Director of Finance and the department’s Financial Specialist. The undergraduate student assistant will assist with data entry, exporting and manipulation of Data for Financial Reporting, and creation of monthly reports. This is a critical role in helping support our teaching, research, and clinical missions.
