Department Overview:
Sex Out Loud's mission is to promote healthy sexuality through sex-positive education and activism. We acknowledge that each individual's sexuality is uniquely shaped by all facets of identity and experience. We seek to empower all students by providing inclusive and accessible programs, events, and resources, and by creating safe space where students can freely discuss these issues.

Schedule:
1 weekly staff Meeting (2-3 hours), Weekly Office Hours (5-7 hours), Attendance to Sex Out Loud Events, and all positions are expected to complete their expectations in a timely fashion. Position offers some flexibility.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Marketing and Outreach Coordinator Expectations: 1. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to work an average of 12-16 hours per week. 2. The marketing and outreach coordinator will be responsible for meeting and networking with the larger campus and city communities to promote Sex Out Loud programming as well as other collaborations. 3. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to create flyers and marketing materials to promote Sex Out Loud. 4. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to keep the staff current about past, present, and future outreach initiatives. 5. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to attend all coordinator meetings. 6. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to maintain the official Sex Out Loud website and all social media platforms. 7. The marketing and outreach coordinator is expected to oversee best practices pertaining to media engagement and communication with media outlets. 8. The marketing and outreach coordinator is responsible for sending out a monthly newsletter in collaboration with the engagement coordinator.
