Schedule:

Schedule can vary depending on class schedule. 2-3 shifts per week. Office hours typically take place sometime between 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Occasional meetings and trainings may take place outside office hours.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in e-mail client and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Access) required.
- Must be able to attend department-wide and program specific trainings.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or required to obtain certification within the first month of employment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with club athletes, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to balance academic commitments with job responsibilities.
- Event management experience preferred.
- Reliable, patient, and dedicated to supporting Sport Clubs and helping them operate efficiently and successfully.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

- Coordinate all aspects of assigned Sport Clubs in collaboration with club leaders, facility operations, and risk management.
- Provide mentorship and guidance through monthly meetings and regular follow‑up with clubs.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including collecting waivers, managing rosters and equipment inventory, updating websites, compiling annual reports and budgets, and supporting fundraising and community service initiatives.
- Assist clubs in navigating and utilizing the Do Sports Easy platform.
- Maintain an onsite presence at practices, events, and tournaments to provide leadership and ensure adherence to Sport Club and University policies.
- Participate in All Officer meetings, club officer trainings, and efforts to represent and promote the Sport Club program at competitions, Rec Well events, campus involvement opportunities, and professional development activities.
- Support public relations efforts and foster community and campus engagement.
- Facilitate scheduling and facility requests between the Sport Club office and other university departments.
- Evaluate club development and recognize the achievements of individual clubs and their advisors.
- Support leadership development of student officers through trainings, council meetings, seminars, and one‑on‑one conversations.
- Maintain detailed records and statistical information related to priority points, injuries, travel, practices, and student development activities.
- Build strong relationships with clubs to enhance customer service and trust.
- Assist club officers in navigating challenges and making informed decisions while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide onsite support for designated Sport Club events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sport Clubs Programs Assistant Director, Coordinator, or Professional Intern.
