Department Overview:
The Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic+ offers a range of courses. We teach more than a dozens languages, including Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Icelandic, Kazakh, Norwegian, Old Norse, Polish, Russian, Sami, Serbo-Croatian, Swedish, Turkish, and Yiddish. Schedule:
Work schedule will vary based on grading needs throughout the spring semester. We anticipate this position will require up to 42 hours of grading work in total.

Qualifications:
Must be a current graduate student in good standing enrolled in a UW System institution.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Prior grading experience preferred but not required. Excellent oral and written skills. Close attention to detail & ability to follow grading rubric instructions. Organized, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively with class instructor to meet grading deadlines.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Grading homework, writing assignments, quizzes, and reflection papers. Attend meetings with class instructor and delivering graded materials ahead of course deadlines.
