The CoE Advising Office is an experienced and dedicated team focused on providing advising services and programming for all students in the College.

Qualifications:
Required: 1. Self-starter & independent worker 2. Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines 3. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills 4. Friendly and welcoming attitude Preferred: 1. College of Engineering undergraduate student 2. Previous customer service experience 3. Previous experience working in the College of Engineering 4. At least 3 semesters remaining in their undergraduate studies 5. Completed at least one semester in their undergraduate studies 6. Experience preparing excel spreadsheets and reporting the data 7. Position Summary/Job Duties:
Primary duties: - General front desk reception responsibilities (including in-person, phone, and email communications), such as checking in students, providing directions, and answering questions - Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders that visit the unit (ex. students, parents, staff & faculty) - Data entry and/or special projects and maintenance of office documents - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a welcoming environment - Assist professional advisors as needed
