Department Overview:

 The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus in support of the university's education, research, and outreach activities. FP&M works behind the scenes to coordinate campus planning, manage design and construction, maintain and operate buildings and grounds, supply utility services, ensure health and safety, and provide parking and transportation services. Our campus customers include anyone who works, studies, visits, or lives on campus.)

Schedule:

 We are looking for you to work a 2 to 6 Hour shift between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

 Minimum: 15.00

Qualifications:

 - Mechanical Background, Customer Service (Preferred but not required)
- Ability to learn and work with computer systems such as Microsoft Suite, Assetworks, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate dedication, self driven and a hard worker

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Accountable and dependable
- Attention to detail
- Customer-facing communication
- Data entry skill

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Receive and distribute materials.
Review deliveries to ensure that they are the correct items and are in acceptable condition, stage materials and receive in using Assetworks software (training on site).
Clean, organize and cycle count inventory in the warehouse.
Assist warehouse team as needed with projects and other duties.
Communicate with the UWM tradespeople and the Stores Procurement team on orders.
Organize and inventory Stores material regularly.

Physical Demands:

- Use of computer/mouse/keyboard
- Ability to work on-site
- Regularly standing, lifting, pushing and pulling
