Schedule:
Hours scheduled between the hours of 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday with some evenings/weekends commitments, flexible scheduling. Regular one-on-one with your supervisor. Attending Morgridge Center training, staff meetings, and events as required.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be an enrolled UW undergrad for the 2026-27 academic year. Employment will require UW-Madison to verify your identity and employment eligibility. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Professionalism (taking ownership of work, meeting deadlines, dependability) Effective organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Strong event planning and facilitation skills (or interest in growing these skills) Aptitude for understanding and managing various forms of technology/software (i.e. Spreadsheets, GivePulse, Canva, Camera and Video Equipment, etc.) Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork to support student community engagement Commitment to the values of equity and responsible community engagement Ability to adapt calmly and solution-oriented to change or challenges
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Recruitment, Registration, and Onboarding (heavy focus at beginning of each semester) Support Badger Volunteers recruitment, including organizing and promoting recruitment events, representing BV at tabling events such as the Public Service Fair and Student Org Fair, conducting intentional outreach and presenting to campus advisors, faculty, and organizations Collaborate with BV Team to develop and facilitate team leader and general orientation sessions that incorporate identity, power and privilege, community engagement preparedness, and logistics of the program Manage BV registration on BadgersEngage (GivePulse) platform Communications, Management, and Development Serve as main Morgridge Center representative in communications between Badger Volunteers Team Leaders and Community Partners involved in one of five focus areas: Food & Resource Security, Urban Farming & Community Gardening, Awareness Raising & Affinity Spaces, Companionship & Isolation Intervention, Community Education & Afterschool Programming Implement and maintain a consistent social media marketing campaign to communicate on Badger Volunteers Instagram page Manage the Badger Volunteers email account with consistent and responsive communication focused on problem solving Support creation of new community partnerships in the five focus areas of Badger Volunteers Engagement Session Planning and Facilitation Serve as contributing member of the Morgridge Center’s Student Programming Board Plan and co-facilitate engaging sessions focused on interesting and relevant topics to strengthen further learning, reflection and community-building for Badger Volunteers and other UW-Madison students Manage event creation on BadgersEngage, create marketing tools to advertise events, track attendance, and facilitate event reflection and evaluation Other Program Support Act as a first respondent supporter regarding Morgridge Center programs, events and resources, and community engagement opportunities for BVs Coordinate end-of-semester community partner acknowledgement, such as writing thank you notes to each partner Center Support Attend Center trainings and team meetings: Fall Training: Wednesday, August 19th through Friday, August 21st Bi-weekly Programming Board meeting on Mondays, 5:00-6:00 pm Monthly All Staff meeting on Mondays, 5:30-6:30 pm
