Department Overview:
This position will support the Genetic-Biotechnology Center Building, which includes two Center's and one Department. The Biotechnology Center will be the home department for this position.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled student in good academic standing • Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule • No prior experience required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving procedures preferred but not required • Familiarity with general workplace safety practices • Knowledge of organizational or record-keeping practices a plus • Ability to operate hand trucks, dollies, and similar material handling equipment (training provided) • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Effective verbal communication skills
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This student hourly position provides essential support to loading dock operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, processing, and distribution of incoming shipments and deliveries. The position may also assist with light administrative tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
