Department Overview:

Department Overview: The Wisconsin MBA & Master’s Programs are designed to meet the needs of graduate students who pursue their MBA or Master’s degree. This position will support the MBA & Master’s Career Development team who serve graduate students at the Wisconsin School of Business in pursuit of their career goals. Duties may be divided to provide specific support to Career Coaches or Employer Relations team members within the Career Development Team.
Anticipated Work Schedule: Monday Through Friday flexible work schedule with some required weekend or evening work.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday flexible work schedule with some required weekend or evening hours in the fall. There will be in-person and remote hours this summer.

Qualifications:

• Full-time UW-Madison undergraduate in good academic standing with a commitment to summer hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• Job Management: Search and review job postings from external employers to ensure they meet the standards of the MBA and Master's programs and post on the HireWire Teams Channel.
• Communication: Manage the Career Development team inbox by responding to recruiter inquiries, following up on outreach, and providing professional customer service.
• Event Coordination: Support logistics for workshops and employer events, including managing project timelines, logistics, attendance tracking, and equipment needs.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

• Marketing Support: Draft monthly newsletters, update the department website, and design promotional materials for digital displays and social media (employer and student facing).
• Data Management: Create and analyze student surveys, analyze outcome data, track engagement data, and produce reports using Excel pivot tables.
• Program Support: Provide essential on-site assistance during the Executive MBA Residency and August Orientation weeks. Responsible for reoccurring tasks, including updating student resume books and updating resources posted on the Canvas page.

Physical Demands:

May lift and move boxes with orientation and other career development materials.
