Department Overview:

The Osher Center for Integrative Health at the UW-Madison is one of 11 Osher Center's across the USA and 1 in Sweden. We are housed in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health within the School of Medicine and Public Health. Our mission statement: Through the principles of integrative health and participatory medicine in our compassionate care, education, and research, our Integrative Health program will support the individuals, healthcare system and communities we serve on the path to their greatest well being.

Schedule:

The successful candidates should be able to work remotely for 4-12 hours per week during the school year and increase their hours for the summer, up to 30 hours/week. The work will be performed remotely and on site. Our offices are located on a bus line and also offer free parking at 610 N. Whitney Way, Madison, WI

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Basic graphic design experience
Social media management and marketing experience a plus, but not required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Audio recording, editing, splicing, mixing and enhancements in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Audition

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Edit raw audio, add clips and produce final MP3 files for distribution
Write and review episode descriptions, transcripts and promotional text for the podcast's website, marketing materials and social media
Assist the podcast team in topic development, identifying guests and episode planning
Assist the podcast team with editorial, social media, graphic design, audio editing, and website projects as assigned
Other administrative tasks as assigned
