Schedule:

 The student will need to be flexible with the work hours since it will depend on the group events for each week. We will work around the student's class schedule. There may be hours during the days and evenings. There will be a couple of weekend events as well.

Qualifications:

 Experience with making art and/or crafts and open to learning other art mediums.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Interest in preparing for and working art events on campus.
Interest in how artistic and craft-based activities positively impact students' well-being.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This position will be under the Outreach department of University Health Services- Mental Health Department. This position will assist the Art Program Specialist with planning and running art engagement experiences for UW students to increase their mental wellbeing.

Preferred Majors for this position include: Art, Art Education, Psychology, Social Work, and Textiles & Fashion Design

Physical Demands:

Needs to be able to lift 25 pounds.
