Department Overview:
The Department of Chemistry is nationally recognized for excellence in education and research. Receiving $25 million in research funding annually, the Department employs approximately 35 faculty, 120 staff, 50 postdoctoral scholars, 375 graduate students, and 120 student workers.

Schedule:
Summer: Up to 30 hours per week. Fall: 5 - 15 hours per week. Schedule of hours will be determined up on hire, based on worker availability between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills are required. Experience or with video and communication editing, or willingness to learn these skills, is preferred. No prior office experience is needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Customer service experience - Effective communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently - Proficiency with MS Office products
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Greeting and assisting visitors, answering department phone line, assisting with data and records management, assisting with departmental marketing and communications projects.
