Qualifications:

Students who are looking for an ongoing position and willing to work over the semester breaks and summer will be given priority.
Must be willing to do a variety of tasks.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently upon completion of training.
Willingness to learn and operate basic lab equipment.
Basic laboratory etiquette and safety is required.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Responsibilities include glass washing, sterilization (autoclaving), shipping and receiving, and various research support tasks.

Physical Demands:

Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending down, kneeling, or reaching during shift for shipping and receiving.
Use of steady hands and sharp eye-hand coordination to handle glassware.
