Department Overview:

Join the Law School Office of Career & Professional Development (OCPD) in developing impactful job search and networking resources that directly impact law student professional growth. The Law School Office of Career & Professional Development provides law students with individualized career counseling, programming related to job search skills and resources, networking opportunities, and various recruitment programs, and facilitates pro bono and experiential learning programs. The Student Assistant will support the Director of Employer Engagement and other OCPD staff in building job search resources for law students. This position may also assist with posting jobs on the Law School’s career management software and providing logistical support for Law School recruitment programs.

Qualifications:

Use of Microsoft Excel and G-Suite tools in a professional setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

This position requires exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated comfort with technology, in particular online research and Microsoft Excel and G-Suite tools.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Position includes administrative support for all Law School career development programs and office priorities.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing online research and data entry in various systems/processes
• Providing logistical support for on-campus interviews and other OCPD-sponsored programs
• Posting positions to OCPD job bank in 12twenty database
• Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with FERPA laws regarding student records
