Qualifications:
|
Applicant must be enrolled full time at the UW. Applicant must have 3-5 hour blocks of time available before 4pm on weekdays, preferably 3-5 days per week. Strong science background and interest in working 3 years including summers and breaks will be given preference. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

A successful assistant can gradually move into a position with participation in cancer biology research.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
The lab assistant will assist senior lab staff in maintenance of cell culture lines, small animal (rodent) colonies and processing of tissues for genetic analysis.

Physical Demands:
|
Lifting, reaching, climbing to reach upper shelves.
