Position Summary
The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Columbia University Student Research Worker to assistant with a very important research project. The candidate will be involved in a federally funded project focusing on HIV prevention and management. The primary duties will involve:
Responsibilities
The primary duties will involve:
- Administering assessments to research participants.
- Assisting in research protocol implementation.
- Providing support with literature reviews & data analysis.
- Translation of study materials into Spanish.
- Assisting with manuscript preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a temporary position with a flexible work schedule.
This is a grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent communication, organizational, and database management skills.
- Excellent quantitative or qualitative data analytic skills.
- Interest in psychology, LGBT health, social science research, and/or HIV Prevention.
- Willingness to work weekends/ evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
