The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry seeks a Program Manager to lead the management of clinical trials, including a multicenter study, funded by NIH and a private foundation.


Responsibilities

  • Process IRB submissions including modifications and submissions.
  • Process FDA investigator new drug (IND) applications and approved protocols. 
  • Provide supervision of up to seven clinical research assistants and coordinators and oversee petty cash accounts.
  • Responsible for procurement of supplies related to the studies of coordination with administrative personnel.
  • Maintain and update Regulatory Binders for all studies.
  • Oversee and coordinate the logistics of research procedures conducted at core facilities including the department of MRI at NYSPI and PET at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
  • Manage the biospecimen repository for all the sites.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned/needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required; plus 4 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of related experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as program manager of clinical trials.
