The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, the incumbent will support a wide range of research, operational and administrative responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct background research in preparation for projects, meetings and events.  This includes but is not limited to, staying abreast of current events globally in sustainable investments
  • Compose, organize, edit text (hard copy and electronic) on behalf of the Director and CCSI Researchers as needed.
  • Plan and oversee the logistics for high level meetings, events and conferences.
  • Serve as primary liaison with collaborators on CCSI projects
  • Provide administrative support for highly confidential and complex items, including standard report production and the coordination of logistics for special events
  • Additional assignments as deemed appropriate by the Director

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Must be able to work with diverse constituencies and support an inclusive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to two years of related experience through internships and coursework.
  • Accuracy, strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills necessary.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure on competing responsibilities with resilience, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Capable of working on projects independently as well as working well as part of a team.
